The Feline Courtyard offers a dedicated setting where cats can experience the sights and sounds of nature in a more controlled environment.
With room for movement, play, climbing, and observation, the courtyard can give felines a stimulating change from indoor routines. It creates an opportunity for cats to enjoy outdoor-inspired enrichment while being cared for in a space designed around their comfort, activity, and natural curiosity.
Potential Risks of Unsupervised Outdoor Access Include:
- Encounters with predators and wildlife, including coyotes, hawks, owls, and other animals
- Exposure to toxic substances such as pesticides, fertilizers, antifreeze, and rodent control products
- Contact with animal traps or other dangerous outdoor equipment
- Traffic accidents or being struck by a vehicle
- Theft or unauthorized removal by people
- Harassment, mistreatment, or attacks from people or other animals
- Fights with other cats that may cause bites or scratches
- Outdoor injuries from falls, sharp objects, plants, or rough surfaces
- Wandering away from home or becoming lost
- Fleas, ticks, worms, and other common outdoor parasites
The Feline Courtyard/Natural Playground gives indoor cats a special opportunity to enjoy fresh air, natural sights, new sounds, and enriching outdoor surroundings. For felines that normally stay inside, this space offers a chance to explore beyond the usual home setting while remaining in a dedicated environment at Absolutely Precious Feline Boutique & Cattery™.
Courtyard pricing may vary depending on supervision. When the cat owner stays and supervises their feline, the rate may be $25.00 per hour or $15.00 per half hour. When supervision is provided by our personnel, the rate may be $30.00 per hour or $20.00 per half hour. This service is designed for indoor-living cats that are not regularly allowed to roam outdoors.

Toys and indoor activities can help, but some cats may also enjoy seeing birds, feeling grass beneath their paws, sensing a cool breeze, and discovering natural sights and sounds. With grass, trees, water features, natural sounds, and a secure setting, the courtyard offers a refreshing change from the typical indoor routine while keeping every visit under close supervision.
The courtyard allows felines to explore at their own pace by watching birds, feeling the grass beneath their paws, listening to the wind, and discovering new sights and scents. These simple experiences can encourage curiosity, movement, and engagement while giving cats a chance to enjoy a different environment designed around their natural interests.
