As mentioned earlier on the website, we are a for-profit organization, and one of the revenue streams is THE CATILLAC CAT CAFÉ™. The Cat Café’ is becoming a unique feature in many cities (Washington D.C. Crumbs & Whiskers Kitten & Cat Café’), (Arlington Va. Stray Cat Café’) & (Alexandria Va. Mount Purrnon Cat Café Wine Bar). The Cat Café’ has become an emerging concept in the food service industry and is a great addition to Absolutely Precious Feline Boutique & Cattery, which also offers a range of cat accessories and premium cat food.
THE CATILLAC CAT CAFÉ™ is not a restaurant; we cater to the delicacies of the palate. We try to stay as natural as possible. Featuring gourmet coffee, fruit salad bowls, tropical drinks with fancy garnishments, Haagen-Dazs ice cream with natural toping such as fresh blueberries, fresh strawberries, or blackberries, and even rose peddles and gourmet chocolate chip cookies of various varieties, it all pairs well with the atmosphere of the boutique cattery.
To bring nature closer to our patrons, we prefer outdoor dining (when weather permits) with a table offering a view of birds at the feeder or bird bath & feeders bird houses at a viewing distance. When there is inclement weather, we provide inside dining with viewing access to large windows and a wide-screen TV that displays the sights & sounds of nature and the natural world as the backdrop for the Café’.
As word gets around, this will cause an invitation or reservations only due to popularity.
WE SERVE THE DELICACIES OF LIFE
A well-known favorite at the CATALLAC CAFÉ is the natural fruit salad (we don’t do meat, fish, or alcohol). The Café” caters to the natural side of health, offering freshly prepared fruit bowls & fruit trays with unlimited fruit combinations (the forgotten food!). Fruit is such a refreshing change for many, which they never knew existed. We incorporate Ice Cream or Sorbet with bowls of natural fruit as sides, along with fruit cocktails, fruit kabobs, melon balls, etc.
Delight your senses with authentic Sumatra coffee. From the aromas of freshly ground coffee beans to exploring unique flavor profiles, enjoy a sensory experience like no other.
A great cup of Hot or Iced Coffee: Fresh ground Sumatra Mandheling Coffee from the island of Sumatra is made with spring water and all the amenities like turbinado cane sugar, natural honey, various international delight coffee creamers, cinnamon, & the house blend, which is a smooth blend of medium & dark Sumatra Coffee. Coffee single cup or Picture, or Unlimited Coffee. Flavor enhancer combinations available include honey iced coffee, vanilla or chocolate ice cream, or simple coffee.
The same is true with our Gourmet Hot Chocolate, which is made with Ghirardelli Chocolate & rich milk cream, and no fillers, making this a hot chocolate worth remembering. Various combinations, from cinnamon to nutmeg to marshmallows, & mint leaves, are also available.
What would a great cup of coffee be without a large warm cinnamon bun, made in our kitchen, and our secret recipe with the various combinations of Plain Cinnamon, Iced Cinnamon, Walnut Cinnamon, and Maple Cinnamon?
Take a 6 pack of Cinnamon rolls home as carry out along with monthly specials such as Blue Berry Cinnamon Rolls.
Exotic Teas, Hot & Iced at recommended strength, teas such as Green Tea, Chamomile & Jasmine Tea, and our house blend – Tetley Classic Blend of Orange Pekoe & Pekoe cut Black Tea are also served. With all the amenities from fresh lemon to Turbinado cane sugar or honey, discover our uncompromising approach to crafting the best-tasting Hot or Iced Tea.
THE GREAT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE
The café is renowned for one of the National Delicacies – The Fresh Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies and an array of combinations: oatmeal chocolate chip, Walnut Chocolate chip, and, of course, Ice-cold Milk on the rocks.
These Chocolate chip cookies speak for themselves. Our test kitchen has a proven recipe made with Ghirardelli Chocolate that produces the best of various varieties of soft chocolate chip cookies, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip, and Raisins. These cookies will leave a lasting impression, whether now or later, as a 6 or 12-pack carryout item of soft chocolate chip cookies.
With a tall glass of milk on the rocks. Much like Sweet Cats Café NY, we provide a cozy environment that pairs well with such treats.
One of the delicacies in life is HAAGEN DAZS ICREAM.
And that’s what we serve!
We have Chocolate & Vanella Haagen Dazs Ice cream, and we add additional toppings, Vanilla & natural cherries, Vanilla & Chocolate chip, Vanilla & Rose Petals, Chocolate & Strawberries, Chocolate & Coffee, Chocolate & Coconut, Vanilla & Peach slices. Vanilla & natural blueberries or Vanilla Chocolate with a bowl of natural fruit as a side bowl.
Not to forget the Haagen Dazs Sorbet (most people have never tried or heard of Sorbet) with a bowl of natural fruit as a compliment.
Haagen Dazs Ice Cream with natural fruit. With the array of choices in fruit, it goes beyond delicacies— it’s healthful. Cold melon ball bowls, fruit kebobs, rainbow fruit skewers, fruit salad parfait’s, & fruit martini (fruit in a Martini glass) with Sorbet are some of our specialties.
